Building on her philosophy that every space, shape, form, colour and material evokes an "energy" - and that "energy" is the essence to igniting feelings or mood of the people whom would live, breathe, move through, work and dream in that space -  Melanie focuses on working intently with this aspect to creating beautiful spaces that are both unique and pleasing to her Clients.

With the inception of her design practice in 1990, Cape Town, South Africa, Melanie has established a firm foundation in Hong Kong and internationally, specializing in the design and optimization of small spaces, commercial, retail and workspace/facilities interiors, wellness and medical facilities, boutique guest houses and hotels, restaurant, wineries, and luxury residential projects
